I wouldn't want to be anywhere near one, but from a distance twisters can be awesome. There was a particularly cool one out over the water in NZ a few months ago.

We just had another onslaught of storms in our area. One of the tornadoes traveled 100 miles on the ground and killed an estimated seven people in one town.
