Well I understand people will have differences in certain topics. But jeez these guys literally live to write paragraphs just criticizing the first posts, no matter what it is. This behavior even contradicts themselves. One minute they make one point, and then they'll fight tooth and nail to broadcast a completely different opinion, even if the first post was their original opinion.

It's pretty stupid. I know all message boards have aspects of this, but this isn't just an aspect... it's like the foundation. It's kinda retarded. Anime, manga and toku is there to enjoy. At least people here enjoy it.

I like my entertainment for enjoyment purposes, I don't like it to see a bunch of retards write tl;dr on why it blows dick all the time.

Further on my bitching of RangerTalk/HenshinHeroes/HenshinTalk/OtakuTalk/LexLuthorTalk

This one will beat you all.

The board, RangerTalk, was a board paying homage to Power Rangers and Super Sentai (the Japanese series that each Power Rangers season is based on). 2 years ago, I was pretty much an oldie there, and was participating in various RPGs (Including a Power Ranger RPG and a Digimon RPG), it was around this time that the board changed it's name to Henshin Heroes (because it wanted to evolve into a board that covered a range of series, not just PR). Then after a situation where my internet had to go down, obviously I had to leave the board for a while. I mean I still lurked the boars whenever I could get a connection, but it wasn't the same.

I come back, after getting my connection back, and the board has been wiped and redirected. Apparently the server crashed and the site had to reboot, new URL and new name (Henshin Talk, lol original). Everyone was mad about this, staff and members, they had no idea. But it was unavoidable, and everyone did their best to reform the community. I got back into the swing of things, but because I was out of place due to a long absence, I left again. It was around the time I signed up to MFG in 2006. Throughout the 2 years I lurked a couple of times and returned now and then to discuss anime (because the site was now generalized).

One day I returned, and the site creator decided WITHOUT WARNING ANYONE AT ALL that he wanted a fresh, clean start. He didn't even warn the staff, so overnight he turned the board into a 'non-posting' archive and redirected the URL to a new site, completely fresh. He didn't even warn anyone, so all the staff had to put up with all the complains, pages and pages of fiction and RPGs to be copied manually. And guess why? Because there was 'internet drama'. Hello? It's a freaking message board!! Jeez, MFG probably has 40% more the chaos and drama that HenshinTalk had IMO. And yet the admin (as well as being completely unable to decide on a name for the board) felt it justified to completely reset the board without warning anyone at all because there were 'a few arguments'. You can't hide from your problems, they'll just follow it onto the new board. And all the trolls that were unbanned, can now come back.

He also can't decide on a name. It was RangerTalk, changed to HenshinHeroes to be more generalized, this was ok, he changed it to HenshinTalk to fuse the too. That was fine, then randomly changes it to OtakuHero, then BlankTalk, then LexLuthorTalk when there wasn't even a SINGLE Smallville discussion thread on the new site. Then every fucking week there is a poll in the site suggestion section asking whether 'RangerTalk Vs HenshinTalk' is best. And even when the poll has the answers. He changes it to something retarded like OtakuTalk then posts the SAME poll again, and again!

Well, I was looking through the "Superhero Hype" boards and I mite say its quite disturbing. The skin is the same as MFG but they have very few members and every topic/discussion is just plain unattractive. It seems like its ran by few Moderators and every topic doesn't stay on topic.

Its kind of sad if you take a look at it :(
