My physics teacher told me about that a while ago. Why don't I trust this? I see something really bad coming. Or maybe I've mistaken, is Hadron Collider ''Accelerateur de particules'' in French? I think yes.

Well, if you translate literally it's that but in that context I think it's different. Seriously, what's an accelerator of paricles??

I believe the true name is particle accelerator and the Large Hadron Collider is a particle accelerator. I believe atom smasher is the same thing as well.

I'm not worried. Black holes from from massive gravitational collapse of a highly dense and massive substance, like a collapsing star. It's nigh on impossible that any black holes will appear, and if they do they'll be miniscule and die out in a fraction of a second anyway.

Hence,t his is a really awesome experiment. Progress is awesome.

Just like lottery, it's nigh impossible to win. Chances are slim but they are still here.

I agree though, this will be an awesome experiment. Ever since I was 15 I got interested in physics a lot. All about the atoms, their mass, their composition etc. I was impressed to somewhat know how the wolrd was composed.

Like I said, really doesn't matter if a black hole is created, because without being formed through supermassive gravitational collapse they'd be unstable and die off before causing any real damage anyway.

He's right, any black hole formed would not have the appropriate mass to even do anything, besides, I believe scientists have been attempting to make mini black holes anyways, it doesn't do anything. They die within nano-seconds.
