At hockey, I bet only on Finnish league. Though sometimes i bet also on international games. But mostly Finnish league. Since it's league that I follow most, it's easier to actually win something. I never bet on NHL.

At soccer, in addition of Finnish league, I sometimes bet on biggest European leagues(Spain, Italy, England) and of course international games. I usually bet favorites with bit higher stakes (for me) But if underdog team has played well lately and it has big multipilers, I sometimes choose them. It's hard to bet on sports if you don't follow that specific sport/league at all/only a bit.

The higher the limits generally the higher quality of the game. I suggest playing for like $5 dollars because it necessitates good play to win.

Actually I am not familiar with the theory. However I must warn you that there are many hap hazardous theories about roulette including the velocity of the wheel in relation to the numbers coming up...etc. Most of these theories have little merit.

The three most common ways to beat roulette are as follows (I know it doesn't answer your question but I hate to leave someone without advice).

1) Bet two numbers every single time with odds of 35/1. With luck you can leave the casino at over double your original amount if your number gets called just like three times within 26-30 spins.

2) Say you don't get lucky in regards to option (1) and have a third of your original bankroll. Make a line bet at 5/1 with all of your original stack and if your lucky you more than double your initial stack 20% of the time.

3) The last method is that you've had a stagnate session - meaning your floating around your original stack. The night is drawing to a close and you want to make a calculated risk. Bet your entire bankroll on either red/black for a 44.7ish% chance of doubling your initial stack.

I'm like the complete opposite from you in sports betting. Hockey, the NHL and international tournaments I bet on fluidly. European elite leagues I am not very familiar with and avoid betting on completely.

Soccer I bet on with the intention of losing - I'm just not a big soccer fan. Usually I just bet on the major international scale just for fun with the friends in a pool of some sort.

Football, boxing, MMA and hockey are what make me money (well not a lot of it though I try).

Canuck the reason I asked is because I discovered this theory when playing an RPG where I had to make an insane amount of money in the casino in order to gain better weapons and items. They had every game just like a normal casino but the roulette table is where I killed.

I would take 9 squares and paint them with chips at every center, edge and side. I'm not sure what it came out to be but every 3 tries I would win at least once. When a number came out I believe it payed out 64x(not exactly sure on that number). So basically you make more than enough to sustain a betting streak like this.

I was hoping you may have more information on whether this would work in the real world. I pretty sure the dealer would not give you time to paint every corner with chips considering the speed at which these games are played with a decent volume of people.

Well that is a lot of bets lol. I'll attempt to make some sense of it

Okay, so every edge, center and side of 9 numbers. I'm assuming your playing all within one of the 12's (1-12, 13-24, 25-36) and taking 9 of the 12 numbers unconditionally and the other three through the side bets.

Some of the numbers would actually pay out a lot more than 64:1:

Ex. Every side, corner and on top of the number 1 red pays 17:1 for the split with 00, 35:1 on itself, 17:1 on the split with 2, 8:1 for the split on 1,2,4,5, 17:1 on the split on 4 and 1:1 for the bet on the first 12 for a grand total payout of 95-1 if 1 red turns up

2,5,8 would be more than that considering they have four different 17:1 bets. Two technically has five 17:1's plus 35:1 plus two 8:1's plus a 1:1 for a grand total of a 137:1

But I think you'd be making upwards of 40 different bets - problematic in many different ways. One, you'd be expending a lot of time making those bets. You may not have time to make them every round. Some casino's also cap how many bets you can make per roulette spin. Lastly, the cheapest roulette table is $1 and so you'd be making a 40 dollar bet on every spin.

But anyways, on average you'd make money considering for example, I painted 1-9 with chips. 1,3,4,6,7,9 would pay out 95:1, 2 would pay 137:1 and 5 + 8 would pay out 136:1. 10 and 12 would pay out 42:1 and 11 would pay out 67:1. Considering I hit one of those payoffs 33.3% of the time and I have to bet 40 chips to create this odds its not a winning system. So on average it takes $120 of betting to hit one of my payoffs. My biggest payoff barely covers this so on average it would not work. Of course on a lucky streak you could win big but that can be said of most games.

You think It would be a good idea if I had 1000 bucks and entered a 5 min table I would have to bet 40x on a single roll. That is about 200 bucks. The odds are in my favor if I stay on the same 9 for 5 turns in a row. The odds are I could win up to 27,400 in one roll!!!

If the risk is worth the reward for you then go for it. I have no problem gambling against the odds if I'm prepared to lose everything I bet and if the payout is worth it. In this care, if your calculations are correct (I didn't re-d0o them long day at work) then yes it certainly worth the risk.

Make sure before you play you have time to place all your bets and you do not go over the maximum number of bets for the table. Otherwise, good luck!

I meant although we bet on the same sports that we bet on entirely different leagues. But yeah, we only bet leagues we're familiar with

No actually I have never played the game...though I've always been intrigued by the game. After all, what gamble is bigger than effectual betting your own life?
