Do you know how many presidents we've had? Being ranked number twenty isn't the highest honor. Also, if you think Abraham Lincoln doesn't deserve the top spot, you're less intelligent than I previously thought. Let me guess, you thought George Washington did a better job? Or Ronald Reagan?

Actually, I really don't think anyone deserves a top spot, they all had faults.
As for Lincoln, the Emancipation Proclamation only gave the slaves liberty in the south. Thus he failed. Explain to me how you believe me to be less intelligent than previously.

A 'popular president' doesn't always make a 'good president'.
Also, you're stacking your rounding up, friend. Almost three years isn't almost a full term. It's more like 60-70%. There was still a good bit to go. With that much left over, not to mention a second term, there was plenty of time for him to make some first class screw ups. He got shot at an opportune time, like Lincoln before Reconstruction. No one knows whether he would have wound up doing all the right things, all the wrong ones, or something in between. His presidency was cut off pretty much before any backlash of potential mess ups could hit him. The kind of president he was, for all intents and purposes, is undefined. Getting shot is probably the best thing that could have happened to boost his fame. EDIT: The Emancipation Proclamation was illegal until the Thirteenth Amendment. I don't know who I would choose as top president off the top of my head, but if I didn't come up with Lincoln, I'm sure I would be stupid, since I would have done research on all of their acts and the policies they promoted and executed.

He is not a crook?
Still, being 20 means he beat about half of all our presidents.

Yeah, Felix, that's what I was saying on how people supported Clinton, and thus not all can be trusted based upon popularity.
And as for major screw ups, BAY OF PIGS. EDIT: Pft, because of Nixon we had detente, which was a bad idea.

I'm convinced you didn't bother reading my post on the previous page. If you had, it would've told you that Kennedy did not design the Bay of Pigs Invasion. The CIA and the Eisenhower administration set it up, and all Kennedy did was say "go ahead."

Don't know. I'd have to be President at the time. Everybody has 20/20 hindsight. I do know that I certainly would have headed the Soviet Ships off like JFK did, at the very least.
Why are you agitated, friend? Settle down. Every person should realize if they set a plan in motion, whether it was made by them or not, they'll take the flak for it because they choose to approve of it.

And asking Felix what he would have done is foolish, hypothetical situations solve nothing, and besides, Felix is from a different time period. His response would be much different than most others.
