The only reason people would be ashamed of it is because adults try to make it out to be a disease. If you have ADD and are continuously told that it's going to hinder your educational experience, what makes you think you'd be able to get over it just by concentrating?

I for one would exploit ADD as much as I could.

I think A.D.D. exists. I have a syndrome myself (related to Aspergers). I have often wondered if it exists, or if it is just a classification of a type of personality. Aspergers can cause some problems, particularly in the context of socialising. These can be overcome if you really step out of your comfort zone.

I'm pretty sure the only decent thing he did, was spend money on Medicare, and spend more money on NASA. (Sarcasm) Also, he failed with the Bay of Pigs. (Although I respect the fact that he tried to cut taxes, I disagree with his government intervention plan to prevent a recession.)

And, as for the spammishness of my post, the headshot post reminded me of it, which, in itself was off-topic.

The Bay of Pigs Invasion wasn't spearheaded by Kennedy. Eisenhower's administration created the plan to overthrow Castro and the invasion with help from the CIA. All Kennedy did was say "go ahead." Can't place all the blame on him.

Kennedy was in office for nearly three years. That's almost an entire term. That's hardly picking a "good time to die." Also, there have been a number of polls that American citizens chose Kennedy as "the greatest president." While I don't agree with that, it goes to show a lot of people supported him and he was a popular president.
