You should be able to know/feel if a girl likes you or not. If not then you've got problems from the beginning. You have to use "game" to get their attention and get them to like you if that's the case. If you can't sense when a girl likes you, and you don't have game, then you're just fucked.

OnlyCarnage's tried and true tips:

1. If you have not got her phone number, get it. You need it. From what I've read, your not the type of guy to ask a girl out face to face. That's ok, I'm not either and I do alright. Do it very casual. Put on a confident face and in the middle of the conversation, ask for it. Don't make it seem like it's a big deal and you should be sweet...

2. Texting.. For those guys out there that arn't overly confident, this is certainly the best avenue. Literally, in the past I would sit in my room for 20 minutes looking at the chicks number before I even called them. All this shit runs through your head: Are they working/busy, will they answer etc. It kills you. So a casual text is the best way to go..

3. Don't rush, but don't take to long either: It seems to me that you have been speaking to this girl for a good couple of months. Hopefully, you havn't pushed her into an eternal void of friendship (worst case scenario imo). But once you start texting her, hit her up to do something within the first few days, no more than a fortnight. Don't smother her cause she will think you are weird (unless she is smothering you back, but this doesn't happen under this circumstance ;)

I dunno. I feel like I have left alot of shit out. You said that you havn't spoken to her heaps. That's good, because although you don't know her entirely you've got a grasp of what she is like and vice-versa. As I mentioned earlier, hopefully she does not consider you a good friend. That shit never, ever works out (past experience). The best thing to do is be casual about it, but put a bit of emphasis on the fact that you like her. Get close, look at her when your talking.. It takes balls to do, although you'll be cheering later on chief..

Just for the record: There is no way to get a number from a girl without her noticing that you want something from her. No way in hell.
Ask her and if she doesn't want to give it to you and/or gives you the wrong one, move on and be sure that she'll laugh at you with her friends.
Asking for a date can be a good thing if she digs you, if not she'll be emberassed and will avoid you in the future.

So my advise: ask her casually if she saw this [Insert random movie which is currently in the cinemas] movie if she didn't and seems mildly interested tell her that none of your friends want to watch this specific movie with you and you really wanted to see it (try not to look desperate here) if she now volunteers to watch it with you, jackpot. If not, bad luck buddy.
Don't know if this one works but a guy once tried it with me and was successful.

I'm assuming that there is no universal code how to get chicks. I also assume that you can't ask people who don't know jack about how this specific girl is like and how the actual relationship looks like right now to give you advise on that matter.
Better ask your friends or anyone else who actually is there and knows the facts.
