Default Weighted Training Clothes

Has anyone ever tried this method of working out?

I bought a 10KG jacket off ebay, and I thought it would be a breeze to master, but I tell you, it does your shoulders in badly!

But I think If I stuck to it, it'd be a good pay off.

Anyone else tried them?

Yes.

I use them for basic exercises like chin-ups, push-ups, set-ups, ect. It hurts like a son of bitch at first, but once you get the hang of it, it improves your body greatly.

I've considered getting one, but I need to find a place that sells the 100lb version. Shipping would be a lot.

i used to have ankle weights and hand weights when i played hockey. makes you a lot faster when you take them off, you can fly.

now i just run, work out without anything. just do push ups, situps, etc

My mum's personal trainer Shannon told me that before you start training with weighted clothing know your limits. but the results they give are really good but if you try with more weight than you can handle it could lead to injury even having weighted clothes on for long periods can lead to injuries. Hope that 10Kg jacket didn't do any major damage to your shoulders. When i did bushwalking as a sport i always carried my backpack loaded with heaps and heaps of thick books and mannn was it heavy but i got a good result but since i wore for long periods it did strain my back muscles, til this day my back muscles still hurt a bit but not as much as they did back then.

I think only people who watch anime would try it. I'm not gonna get into any further detail than that.

You realize that the concept of weighted clothing was being pursued by people before Goku or Jimbob McShounen was using it, right? That's how it got there, the author knew of people using it for real.

Yeah, it's sort of an ancient training technique. People have been doing that long before anime, or even television were invented. So next time you decide to open your mouth to make yourself sound better than everyone else, use your brain.

Unless JC doesn't watch anime (which I doubt, this is an anime site after all) I don't think he was trying to make himself seem better than everyone else lol

When I took the 10KG Jacket off, I ran the london marathon in under 3.4 seconds.

Could have been better, I was dissapointed.

My god, you're such an immature, prejudicing twat. Do you think weighted training clothes were made around the same time Dragonball Z was made?

Weighted clothes are really cool. The moment you put take them off. You feel like you're flying,
