I think only people who watch anime would try it. I'm not gonna get into any further detail than that.
To everyone who criticizes this post, I know weighed clothing came much before DB(Z), but it did make it a bit more popular.

Lol yeah many people around me such as friends use this type of trainging. I won't say I did, but I do have weights in my bag. So when ever I leave the house I'm training, I wouldn't say I use to it now though 35lbs on each side, but it no longer kills my back. Streching is insential.

if your gonna do this make sure your body is ready for it.... at the gym, some kids where talking to eachother saying they're training with weighted clotes, which isnt good for people who's body isnt full grown yet....

50 high kicks with 2kg ankleweights.... oh shi- your leg will hurt like a m*th*f*ck*

Please return the jacket Stef. I am a personal trainer and I know that training with weighted clothing could lead to injury and improper muscle growth. You can also develop tendonitis in your joints when working out like this. The faster you are able to require strength and speed the faster you deplete your bones and joints. This has been proven over and again by the many shortcuts made available.

I got some ankle weights, but I think I used them once.

My shoes weigh enough to tire me out. D:

this isn't completely true you know.....

if someone is full grown, well built, has been working out properly, you can train with weighted clothes, just make sure your body is capable of handling it and dont do it for too long. also dont use ankleweights they kinda jerk, if you ARE gonna use weighted clothing, use a vest that spreads the weight over your complete body....

Default Re: Weighted Training Clothes

you basically said my post was half correct and then made it fully correct. Your body wether it is able to handle weighted clothing or not should not undergo that stress in specific areas. Just like you said you would need an outfit that distributes weight evenly across the entire body so that no one joint or bone is handling the extra weight during the exercise. Therefore my post about stef getting a jacket which only covers the upper torso would be bad for his back.
