Reason why we're here.
Ok, in science, we're learning about cells, bio-whatever you calls them. And our teacher said, "The only reason, we as a speices, strive to survive, to carry on our genetic code. To pass the seed onto another generation. After that, your job is done. Life doesn't care anymore, you've done your job to keep the speices alive." So.. I was in deep thought here. so like the dumbass I was, I put up my hand "Yes?" "Then why we go to school, if we just have to have sex, and die?" She froze, and kinda laughed. He ignored the question, and went on about the lession.
LOL. alright, so I ask you, why do we go to school, if all we do is need to mate, then die?

Genetically that is all we have to do, but it is also coded into our genes to protect and nurture our offspring as best we can. Due to the structure of our brains, over time we began upping the ante and making life better and better for our species until we got to the point where as the only way to improve the lives our our offspring is to get an education when we are still under the protection of our own parents.

Genes exist to pass down our hopes and dream for the future through our children. Living is a link to what will come; all life is tethered to the future. Loving each other .. teaching each new generation .. then the world can change. I finally realized it, the true meaning of life ..
