Telling me to shut up and all that; sounds like an ultimately "selfish" and desperate attempt to just simply "stomp" me out instead of using logical explanations that I can't successfully counter-argue with equal reasoning. And you're not the only one frustrated towards me. It's the basic response to anyone challenging their authority: like a paranoid dictator making dissidents disappear or churches threatening a scientist on the brink of a scientific breakthrough that would prove their beliefs wrong or the wolf pack's alpha male leader fighting another challenging male for control of the pack. It's ironic too, because your struggle with me ultimately reflects a summarization of this thread's concept, so it's not like I'm surprised at this point, although I was hoping this thread would attract more mature and open-minded members.

You do it because you choose to, indicating that you wanted to do it. You're caught up in the mindset that being selfish is always malicious and is something completely different from everyday selfishness; remove the sandbags.

There are countries that don't even have eleven million citizens. Cities such as New York City, London, Moscow, Tokyo, etc, don't even have eleven million citizens. Back then, imagine how much larger eleven million seemed. Nothing ever compared to that. Events such as the Slave Trade were cruel and millions died, but they lasted decades. Adolf Hitler had millions slaughtered within a matter of years. Six million Jews were slaughtered. That was 75% of the Jewish population in Europe. Six million is also 75% of everyone who lives in New York City. Imagine 75% of everyone in New York City vanishing. Three out of every four citizens would be gone. Worst of all, they were innocent. They weren't soldiers. They weren't threatening anyone. They were regular citizens who were rounded up and exterminated.

Actually I know exactly why no1 likes me. I have not lost either so much as I'm just keeping this going. I knew from the start there would be no winning this argument because some people just refuse to leave their beliefs. We are both such people.
