Native Americans that sold out didn't even attempt to save their lives. All of the Natives that were fighting to regain control of their land had died, and everyone else just sat around and waited to be manhandled. They are supposed to be noble and proud people. A Native would be a hero to his tribe if he died while fighting a bear in the area, so I can't imagine why they'd allow themselves to be punked like that and shoved off of their land into reservations.

Meanwhile, we have Jewish people (who had less of a means to fight back against Germans) doing sneaky little Jewish things to get around the Nazis: assuming identities, hiding away, moving away, sneaking food. Sure they didn't all put up a fight but even the pussiest of Jews were trying to do something to continue, while people who were trained to fight and knew the lay of the land were simply allowing the white man to do whatever.

I'm not really in this discussion anymore, but c'mon, what did you expect the Natives to do? There's a huge difference between being proud and being stupid. Had those Natives led their people with tomahawks against the U.S. army and their Hotchkiss guns, that would be stupid, not noble. I would have taken the only other option available: reservations.

But I still think it's stupid to compare that to the Holocaust, Lisa.

Did I say they deserved it...? No. Did I say all of the Jews were guilty of the reason Hitler hated them? No.

Obviously, there was a reason Hitler was so prejudiced. No one ever brings it up, funnily enough. The Germans had to live under apartheid. There were serious economic inequalities. And the Jewish leaders should be ashamed of themselves for the dirty, dishonest deal they struck with Britain to claim Israel.

I don't think what I said was biased in any way. I'm not Jewish. I don't hate Germans. I gain nothing from stating the obvious. You obviously don't have anything else in mind, or you would have presented it straight-up. But I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess what you think it the true "greatest violation of civil rights": slavery in the South, or The Crusades. If you want to say the slavery, then fair enough, but that would be biased of you and would also be false in so many ways, and if you want to say the Crusades, we can go ahead and open up that can if you so desire. Don't try to justify the Holocaust in any way. Also, please present a RELIABLE source for your apartheid claim. I have never heard such a thing outside South Africa. And don't post it from Hesbollah's website either.

Not only do I consider our minds being a mere "mass of evolved cells" nonsense, but I consider my happiness something that could be sacrificed for others. I acknowledge that I am not worth more than others, and would be willing to be miserable and lose my goals, hopes, and dreams if it ever compromised this. And yes, Halcyon, everything you do, with a reason behind it, is selfish because it was for yourself; it's as simple as that. And selfishness does not necessarily = maliciousness since it's what we all live by, unless you consider living and almost everything we do malicious.
