I know five Martial art styles: Shotokan, Brazillian Ju-Jutsu, Boxing, Kick-boxing and some pressure-point Okinawa.

I have been training for nearly 6 years.

I have fought grown men who have been training since before I was born and placed 2nd and 3rd several times in the Nationals.

I believe I could handle 6 people. But note the resume; how would an ordinary human person deal with it...?

It's because some people just don't understand. For example, the other day (Probably like 6 months ago) on the news I heard something about two women being brutally raped and were now missing, right after that report was given the news reporter said, "And our next story is a sad tale that only a horrible person could do", it was about how a dog was burned.

I mean WTF? A dog being burned is worse than two women being brutally raped?

ANB, if you were kidnapped and in a random house being attacked by six different people who were your same size, if not bigger than you, you could not handle yourself despite your Kick-boxing. And I say this as a martial artist myself. That's just impractical. Besides, it's Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, not Ju-Jutsu.

And Chimney Leaf, girls are beat up all the time by each other. I've seen a few girl fights this year and I'm sure a few of them have been recorded. That doesn't mean it should be on Fox News everytime I'm flipping through the channels. Teenagers beat each other up all the time. Some family dying is a bigger lose and deserves the respct of being shown before this video. On another note, the girl who got beat up is cute. If I saw it happening, I'd rip those girls' arms off with six individual armbars.

EDIT: A dog being burned is out-of-the-ordinary. I'd rather hear about that.

Empathy, you're right, sort of, although I don't think news channels have anyone's respect in mind when they run stories. However, I'm not sure where you're from, but here in Britain there's a massive epidemic of recorded fights and bullying, people nearly getting killed over this sort of shit. The two aren't mutually exclusive. (I make it sound as though it's a ghetto crack den here, but you get the idea).
