I only give away reputation when someone posts something really funny, or really productive, or delivers an excruciating amount of well-deserved ownage upon another member I don't like.

But I guess I should be quiet in this matter, since I've participated as well. But rep-whoring aside, I normally also rep for the above mentioned reasons...but mostly when the content of the post makes me lol hard.

I very rarely rep, never once neg repped.

- I only ever rep if someone is doing an extremely good job or has helped MFG lots
- If I find something really really really funny. Basic humor gets nothing.
- If someone had been gang neg-repped for no reason, I've repped before.
- If a member has been generally very good and productive.
- If someone makes a really good point in a debate, I don't even have to agree with their point, just it's execution

So I guess that means I don't often rep individual posts. On another note I've only ever been negged once. By Halcyon, but I'm positive he did it just to see what I'd do.
