Can anyone recommend good usb sticks for storing data? I honestly don't know much about them because I don't have one yet.

Depends if you're more interested in storing data, or transporting data. If you plan on storing it, buy a USB drive so you can back the contents of your entire drive. I'd reccomend the "My Book" drive by Western Digital. Mine looks exactly like this:
![]() They range anywhere from 80GB to like 500GB storage capacity. As for the actual USB sticks that hold 1-2 gigs, I've never owned one. BUT, I did have a pretty badass 1GB MP3 player by 'Sansa Sandisk' that doubled as a USB storage device. If you don't have a player, you could always kill two birds with one stone: ![]()

Actually Manic, I have the same storage device, the My Book.
![]() SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Micro Flash Drive with ReadyBoost - Wal-Mart Sandisk is respectable for flashdrives and mp3 players. This cruzer is a pretty good deal.

Amazon.com: SanDisk 8 GB Cruzer Micro USB 2.0 Drive with U3 SDCZ6-8192-A11 (retail packaging): Electronics
Amazon.com: Western Digital WDG1U2500 My Book Essential Edition 250 GB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive: Electronics These are the items of my choosing. Does the hard drive ever crash on you guys? The USB stick I want contains eight gigs so I think that's good. If I have trouble with it I'll just come running to you guys. :P

Meh, I dislike the Sandisk usb sticks. They are good for storing things, yes. But they have very slow load times (or at least mine does) because it opens up the U3 software.
but that western digital big on is fantastic. It's the exact same one I use currently. Never crashes, loads quickly, hard to break >_> It's good stuff.

Sandisk flash drives are my favorites. Mine went through car tires and off the side off the house, but it still works.
