Vivi: The reason being observation of local culture, broadening my English skills and in general, visiting a country that speaks English. Hence why Australia and Britain are mentioned too.
Germany is there just because of Oktoberfest. And Wacken. No forgetting Wacken Open Air.

I've studied abroad...or two.
Seriously though, if I did study abroad I'd want to go to Japan and study Robotics. |

I'd want to go to Japan, seriously...
But U.S.A. has plenty of smart students and I wouldn't go so far as to call them dumb asses? The reading is on the decline, which my professor stated was making people "stupid" but that's due to technology and there's no stopping it now. In general you need money to go to another country, it seems if your parents are not rich or if you don't get a scholarship then you just won't go too far from home. Not to mention your loss of contacts and family. :/ I certainly wouldn't go unprepared.

I went to Japan for 6 months, awesome time, though we mostly partied with Americans.
Japanese people are kind of crazy when it comes to hang out in a pub, beware of their "Bill Sharing" you'll be broke afterwards >_>
