Regardless, I have to agree with the concept of this. I'm getting tired of the Moderators shutting members up whenever there's a problem. In all honesty, I've never had a member contact me with a problem. Ever. As a Super Moderator, I kept a strict eye over everything. However, that didn't stop problems from happening. I had a life. I wasn't always around. But did I ever, ever receive notification of a problem by another member? No, I didn't. Members never voice their opinions, and it's about time they did. This board isn't a democracy, but opinions still deserve to be heard, providing they're done in a civil manner. I mean seriously, it's not like you want public executions of other members. You just want them to hear your opinions, which is fine. If any Staff member has a problem with that, in all honesty, they don't deserve to be in the Staff. Being in the Staff is about being just, not cruel. The Staff isn't a dictatorship, or at least shouldn't be. (I don't know since Island is always excluded from Staff business. YOU COULD'VE AT LEAST INVITED ME TO THE CHRISTMAS PARTY! ;_;) Ahem, anyway, the Staff will listen if you're considerate about it. Just you know, like Engel and I said, be civil about it.

The Gas Chamber hasn't done a lot to forward MFG's productiveness. It was originally intended to remove the spam from other threads throughout the forum, but it resulted in countless threads directed towards attacking spammers inside of a spamming forum. Obviously, it didn't work out the way we had hoped.

I appreciate the original lounge much more now than I did before, but to be honest, despite being a moderator of The Gas Chamber, I never really venture in here unless something of interest catches my eye on the main page.

I'm the Art and Graphics Lounge moderator, and there usually aren't a lot of problematic events happening in there. Because of that, I'm generally very tentative when it comes to taking action, as I don't wish to step on anyone's toes and ruin what may be a joke inside of a varied, off-topic forum.

Read the first page. I agree that topic-locking and all that jazz is getting kind of annoying. I'm not saying anybody is being punished excessively, but having somebody tell you to calm down when you're posting rather mild insults (if it even is that) is just dumb. When Speeding Catneko was in here trying to flame everyone, members were just like "lol what a dumbass" but when an older member teases it's suddenly unacceptable!
