Aikousha, Shoubainin is on a distinguished road
Default Any Jpop\Jrock fans out there? ;)

I'm getting addicted to the band UVERworld after hearing D-Technolife, the second bleach opening. o_o
Also love Maximum the Hormone, Porno Graffiti, Nana Kitade and Cool Joke.

I like a Avant-garde metal/experimental metal and black metal band called Sigh, who are the first black metal band from Japan, but that is about it.

Where is that crazy Jeff when one actually needs him to do something....This needs to be moved to the music section.

All of those are good choices aikoshok...--Aishou. ( <--That shall be your short name >_>). I've never heard of Cool Joke though. Is it like...rock, metal, rap? Or is like poppy?

I'm a fan of Dir En Grey, Gazette, Rip Slyme, Maximum the hormone, and most other J-rock bands.

To find new bands I like to look for the names of opening songs to animes, because they tend to have pretty good songs so that helps me find new bands. Most of the One Piece opening songs are pretty sweet (Hikari e by The Baby Stars, for example.) As for bands in general, uh... Utada Hikaru. My two favorites by her are Keep Tryin' and Hikari.

The only J-music I like is some openers to video games/anime, and even those are very few and far apart.

Third opening to FMA.

I like too much AZN music, mainly X Japan, Versailles, Dir en Grey, Phantasmagoria, Ayumi Hamasaki, Sambomaster to name a few, very few.

EDIT: I like Utada Hikaru a bit too, but she sounds a lot like Tori Amos.

I think the best Japanese artists are...

Gackt (though I only listen to a few of his songs, they are some awesome songs)
T.M. Revolution
Tamaki Nami
Hamasaki Ayumi (STARTIN FTW!!!)
Two Mix

Those are really the only artists that I listen to more than 2-3 songs by and Gackt is barely above that but what I listen to of his is better than anything by the other groups.

Yeah, Gackt has one awesome voice...but he kinda ruins it by only singing cheesy lovesongs.

I like Salyu (she did the vocal soundtrack to "Lily Chou Chou no Subete")
Miyavi (crazy little guy, I like his voice and the fact that he doesn't go mainstream with his music, it's still nothing but noise)
Hikaru Utada's Passion
Some XJapan stuff
Lemioromen
Akeboshi

yeah, I think that's it.
