You hear that Fedor is a free agent now? However, Fedor in the UFC is looking very unlikely.

Fedor in the UFC would be beyond sweet. Fedor vs Arloski, Fedor vs Tim, Fedor vs Cro Cop 2 (when he's done in Japan) and Fedor vs Couture!

However, he'll probably sign in Dream and basically fight nobodies for the rest of his career

That's true. I think if Fedor and Couture fought in the UFC, Randy would probably beat him by pressing him against the cage. It's happened to a lot of PRIDE fighters and I see it happening again. Of course, though, I don't see the fight actually happening though.

Arlovski's last fight was his last in the UFC I believe.

Fedor would pwn Tim, IMO.

Crocop isn't ready to take on Fedor a 2nd time, especially now that his hand is healed.

I'm pretty sure Couture is done with the UFC. Most likely he'll sign with DREAMS and fight there, at least I hope.

Yes it was Arloski's last fight under contract but from what I've heard there's still a possibility of him returning to the organization.

I think Tim presents some problems for Fedor, but Fedor would definitely be the heavy favourite.

Regardless though, Fedor has better fights in the UFC than he does anywhere else. Sergei and Barnett are really the only good fighters in his weight-class he can fight outside of the UFC (unless Arloski leaves as well). Also keep in mind Couture said he would immediately return to the UFC if Fedor was signed (source is sherdog.com - check the forums i's confirmed).

Tim vs. Fedor would be similar to Fedor vs. Semmy Schilt. Except Semmy was taller.

The thing I'm worried about Fedor, if he signs with the UFC, it's very possible he can lose by cut, since there's elbows. Fedor has very weak skin and cuts easily, in fact, his only loss in his career is by cut. But as long as we see Fedor vs. Couture happen somewhere, I'll be satisfied. And have you heard that Chuck says he can beat Fedor lol? And he says that he's overrated and has a bad gameplan... like is he on crack? Fedor is the smartest fighter I've ever seen, and most of the time it's because he sticks with his gameplan, that he wins.

Yeah, after his fight with Hong Choi Man, Fedor's face was heavily bruised and he hardly took any punches. Couture messed up Gonzaga's face and I think he could do the same to Fedor.

Also, Sherdog is not a reliable source.

Yeah but there was a thread a while back that had a video interview of Couture stating if Fedor's signed he'd willingly go back to the UFC.

And Tim has much better grappling than Schilt and when healthy has good takedown defense (his back was blown in the Couture fight). Besides, Fedor relies on trip takedowns and with Tim's massive size it could play out with Tim on top of Fedor. Of course, Tim doesn't have the best sub defense but still, his reach and size presents problems for Fedor.

Nog caught him in a basic sweep/guillotine, and after that fight I figured Fedor could sub him with ease, but not that I consider Cro Cop's reign in the UFC, anything is possible in a cage.

I think Tim must've had a brain cramp in the fight because your right, the sweep was pretty basic and it looked as if Tim rolled with the guillotine into Nog's guard. Not that I'm an expert or anything but it looked almost too easy for Nog.

Although, I give Nog credit - he's a wizard on the ground and has a chin of titanium

Aoki vs. J.Z. was very disappointing... a no contest, BS.

And Crocop defeated his extremely under-experienced opponent, who took the fight in 2 weeks notice, surprise, surprise.

How'd you watch it? I read all the results.

I watched the .gif of J.Z./Aoki and it was clearly an illegal elbow, but the quester is whether or not Aoki should've continued. I guess we'll see the rematch, assuming there will be one. I'm done with Cro Cop. No care anymore. I read that Alvarez did awesome at 155, so that's cool.

And yeah it was an illegal elbow. But I was anticipating this match for quite while, ever since it got cancelled the first time. It was just an unfortunate ending, I'm really hoping there's a rematch though.
