So, Jean needs music help.

Lulz.

I'm one of the editors of my school's Literary Magazine, and I've been asked to write an informative review about "music." I've been allowed to come up with my own theme, which I have. However, in writing my review, I've found that I'm coming up a little short on a few things...

Okay, first off, the theme is "Feel-Good Music Through the Ages."

My whole concept is to trace the history of music that was intended simply to make listeners feel good - in other words, happy / upbeat music. I'm a classically-trained musician, so I've got from like, the 1600's up to the 1900's down pat, and I've got some stuff from this century as well... but... um. I'm just not that familiar with "popular" or "mainstream" music, and so I'm really short on "feel-good" music of this latest era.

Can anyone provide me with some help? All I need is:

-Song Titles
-(Corresponding) Band Names

And um, the review is due tomorrow, unless I totally play hooky, which I might just do because I also have a shitload of actual homework to do.

So please, help me! *flails*
