The Lounge Guidelines

1 - All regular board rules apply unless otherwise stated in here

2 - General randomness is allowed but it cannot be taken too far off topic. If we find it drifting off into the ridiculous we will move it to the Gas Chamber where it can be spammed to death. If this happens too often you will be warned and reprimanded. Be smart about this forum, if you're making a topic to be funny it probably doesn't belong here.

3 - Topics such as Lol Topics, post count topics and general bull shit don't belong here. Only topics that can actually be talked about, use your common sense and use the right forum.

4 - "Friendly flaming and trolling" seems a bit of an oxymoron, however what is being implied by this is that poking fun at eachother is okay - not antagonizing others, or seriously trying to get on peoples' nerves. Challenging other people's views etc is allowed, like in any other part of the forum, except here you may be a little more bold with your statements. If, doing that, accidentally or on purpose, you insulted another member and he / she asks you to stop, then stop. If you feel insulted by another member's posts, either ask him / her to stop or notify a Moderator - do not respond with insults.

5 - Sexually explicit and racist posts are not allowed at all. Please note that we definte "racist" as racist by intention, therefore, not merely in good humor - but if in doubt, understand that we may see the need to intervene if there appears to be enough agitation over the matter.

6 - If there is something you have an issue with, have the respect to take it to staff in private instead of making a public spectacle. This is in the rules, plain and clear, do not openly challenge staff decisions. Again, there seems to be a need to make this clear in this forum specifically, since most of the problems we've had have been specifically with this forum. We're pointing out a basic forum rule, that applies everywhere. Please follow it.
