I've never really been into Valentine's Day; whether it be the mass consumerism that irritates me, or the fact that every year things end up getting progressively worse for me.

Every V-Day since '01 has been pure crap, for lack of a better word.

I'm waiting for my valentine, though I highly doubt I'll ever have one.

The key is finding a girl who doesn't care about stupid shit. A laid-back chick who likes to keep things simple. Someone you can be yourself around, and not have to worry about saying something offensive in front of. It's not easy, but it'll happen eventually. Do what I did and learn from your rejections, so the next girl you try will have qualities your previous failures did not. Sooner or later, one will 'stick' and go out with you. If she dumps you, again, learn from your mistakes so your next relationship will last longer.

PROTIP: If they wear copious amounts of make-up and have a ton of friends, chances are you're dealing with a dramatizing social whore. Stay away from girls like these if you value your sanity. Same goes if she has a MySpace with hundreds of friends who leave endless strings of lame comments on her profile.

Also, no offense, Lisa, but breaking up on Valentine's Day is a pretty bitchy thing to do. lol.

After having a fair share of relationships, I've decided that having an affair for the sake of being with someone is meaningless (I came to that conclusion after having a relationship with a girl I was very fond of, and then breaking up for stupid reasons). I won't say I'm trying to find "the one" (I don't believe there is "one" anyway), but I'm looking for someone with whom I can share more than a few empty moments. And since those girls are pretty damn hard to find, no, I'm not involved in a relationship right now.
