For a living I work at an ISP in NZ called Orcon. I basically do internet tech support, which definitely isn't as glamorous as it sounds.

Other than that, well nothing. Work eats up so much of life it's not even funny. I want to get back in to writing ... maybe when I eventually get this computer that I've been talking about for over a year now.

Oh ... I got wrapped up in school. I've had a series of waitressing jobs, too.

The first one entailed regularly getting poked in the ass by hyperactive toddlesrs with knives. But it was good pay, and I liked the people I worked for, and for a while, I could actually afford stuff. xD

Then they left, and the new people didn't want me because technically, I'm too young to work anyways. I do a bit of waitressing for them.

I had a third, but they took too much advantage of me; I'm not even bitching here. xD ... I was expected to do everything while they stood around and talked, I ended up working longer hours than I was legally meant to, and was on a lot less pay. And My boss was kinda bitchy, which didn't help, so I left. ^_^

Gotta wait 'til I'm 16 to get a job, now =<

No they are like slippers/shoe type things. They are not that well known but I am creating the designs for premiership football clubs mainly at the moment, then working on the actually advertising campaign and such later on.

Well that's like the end stage. I would do the colour layout and such. Its not a difficult job but I get paid and it gets my name out there amongst the graphic design community so its a good at this point.

I was going to ask that actually, about the payment. It's an advantage to a course such as graphic design. Even low level IT courses can provide income for the student, a couple of my friends got paid for the programmes they wrote for their A Levels. I get f'k all for Japanese, and I know my lecturers are stealing the ideas in my politics essays.

Ahhh plagiarism is a problem in most industries you just have to publish your ideas somehow before they do.

Yes this is one of the courses you can actually make money in the same field while studying it. Especially if you can manage to do alot of freelance work.

Actually I take back what I said in my earlier post, I can earn money when I'm on my year abroad teaching English, and quite often on years abroad, people get to do work placements.

Doing PR at uni. I'm pretty good at it, but I don't like it too much. But it wasn't really my choice to go to uni, my dad is using me to gain rep. I have bigger ambitions than becoming a fucking PR person.

Which university are you at? I'd guess Leeds or Leeds Met, since you're from there, but then again, I went miles away for university, I'm at Newcastle.
