I'm curious. Was there ever an MFG 1 or MFG 2 Forum? I joined on the third Forum, and have been a member ever since.

MFG 1 was a phpBB-based forum. I'm pretty sure that MFG 2 was when we switched to Invision, then MFG 3 was when we did a major upgrade of the Invision system, adding blogs and a gallery. MFG 4 was Community Server, and now here we are with MFG 5 on vBulletin.

Man I always wondered how this place came about. Now that I know i am very impressed with how far this place has come. I also had no idea that the three board founders of this place are all from New Zealand!

It's pretty neat seeing how this place has progressed.

Being a fairly new member, I hope to be able to see more changes and updates to the forums.

I laughed when I saw this; it's an old MFG description of Pokemon Silver. You can see why they stopped reviewing games after awhile:

Seems a pretty decent history. I didn't even know Ace, Sharky and Dino were the only founders. lol I thought that guy Superior and Goku were also founders. Anyway good history and long live MFG.

Heh heh, the Narutomania invasion is actually how I first found this board- I was a part of it. I trolled it for quite some time and had over 40 accounts. Then I realized that I actually liked this ol' place, and I stayed. And then I was Jesus.

I'm sure Superior would have liked to think he was a founder also! XD Nah but the kid did help the place a lot so I could see where that idea came from.

I... really feel stupid for never realising all three founders were from New Zealand. Its no wonder us Ozzies have always had a welcome pressense here, we're like thier gods!
