And MUGEN takes forever to get, when you're getting alot of characters with it.

Mugen takes forever to get what? Which character will you put in your game.

Lord_Sloth (posted in that WinMugen topic about how much characters he has) is sending me all of his files on MSN. So I was saying that's taking forever. Past the two and a half hour mark. And, I'll probably just keep with the amount he has, even though he did say he doesn't have Captain Commando. And I need him.
I just need something to do when I'm bored.

It's still astonishing how much people are playing Mugen these days. That was cool back then but now, 2d fighters are a bit dated.

MUGEN, MUGEN, MUGEN. Oh how I loved MUGEN! I have some pretty cool characters. But I focused on my current roster to be balanced and actually FUN to play, without the super-destructoid monster characters.
However, my love for MUGEN has recently dwindled as I've discovered the fire and magnificence that is video game emulation.

well, not completely...there ARE emulators/ROMs...but that's illegal stuff right there unless you own the original games, so I won't discuss that here unless in PM. =\

I don't really like emulators. I always end up downloading Japanese versions of the games.

Some emulators work pretty nicely, as for the games origins, usually if it's japanese the ROM name will be something like, 'gamename[j]' And if it's USA it's like 'gamename[u]' or something.

Much easier to just download certain characters from certain games instead of having two different games and only play a few people in each.

MUGEN doesn't always give a very good representation of what the actual characters are like in their games. And with emulators, you can play against people online, something MUGEN can't do as of now.

Seems pretty fine with me.
I'm not that worried about online. Most of the people I talk to don't even play fighting games that much anyway. It's all first person shooters or RPGs now.

Yeah. That's how it is. Even still emulators are fun for other games besides fighting games.
