Yeah, the language was Dutch, I had completely forgotten that until now actually.
I feel so special, I got mentioned!
Vegeto, I remember I was the one that introduced you to this website, which I had been active on for some time and then things took off from there.
As for myself, I joined on October 10th 2004, I was actively arguing on why Wegeta was the best against the game and then I vanished for a couple months, and when I returned I got the feeling that there had been a flame war in my absence because there were quite a few more banned people that when I first signed up.

-Duo posts 100 times in his first day, in only two Forums "Dragonball Z" and "Saiyans". Most posts were a massive dialogue between him and "MirrorMirror Goku".
-Duo secretly wishes he could steal Lord Sloths Moderator position. Duo now regrets the thought.
I came around every now and then after that, cockily thinking I knew everything about Dragonball Z. Why? I had seen almost EVERY episode of the show on Cartoon Network, and most of the movies and both TV Specials! I was so badass I could hardly believe myself.
Right...
So late July rolls around and I notice a "Vegeta SSJ4" has this "Power Levels" thread where people ask what someones power level is and he'd give an answer. This crap went on for 100 pages. Suddenly...I forged in the depths of Mt. Couch a power level listing of the entire series, and posted a thread for it! SOMEONE HAS CHALLENGED THE GREAT VEGETA SSJ4. And that was the beginning of Power Level Threads, which go on to this very day. I myself did not stop until about a year ago, when I basically posted the epitome of perfection for PL estimations, and then deemed the entire concept/fad stupid.
So, I started getting into all these Dragonball debates over strengths and battles and all this crap. Two big ones were "Which Boo is the strongest" and "Ssj3 Goku vs. Mystic Gohan". And that was when Nyqua and Blackmasta first appeared, coming as sages from beyond to tell myself of something known as "Manga", a great holy text depicting the truth behind Dragonball. I then began to collect and study, and eventually became revered as the most knowledgeable member about Dragonball Z. Of course, I now can name a half dozen members at my level or higher. Go figure.
In this time, I started to spend much time talking to the 2 member Admins, DLF and Shugo. I got along real well with them, and after Sharky appeared and made 10,000 forums in the index, I got a couple Mod spots and an offer to post news on the main page. However, as August approached, I had to leave for a week with no checking on things. When I came back, HELL had occurred. HELL.
Things get blurry here. I started to get to know someone called Superior who seemed to be popular but kinda had a stick up his ass, but we worked it out and actually started to get along really well. Manic and Twitch appeared, owning things as they went along and becoming legends. 3 flame wars happened, the 2 admins were removed and soon banned. We upgraded to Invision. I was offered the/a Supermod spot, and I said I couldn't do it alone and required Superior and Naruto as my help. The 3 of us took the board by storm and began to pour water upon the horrendous flames. At some point, Naruto defected and attacked, and was banned. Squallsoft replaced, who to this day I remember as one of the calmest, coolest, and awesome members of all time, who left because he lost interest eventually. Too bad.
There was also a lot of Fanfictioning going on, I had a really popular clan for a couple months, I got to know Gokou, GT-Goku, and Wild-roze a bit, and they were cool. Things settled out but there was the ongoing problem of no Admins around. Things were growing stagnant. Then, one day...I got dino to let me talk to Ace. Later that week...
The Super Admi-Jin appeared!!!

I basically took the board by the ass and started changing the entire setup of the place in a hurry. In no time there was organization, order, and context to everything. Merges, splits, you name them. One night and everything changed. To this day, you can see the effect this had on basically everything. The same basic idea's are still used everywhere here. But, to bring calm to the insanity, another Admin was required, as to keep each other in check. Me and Superior had become like War Buddies during our months together, and I had a great respect for his endurance under fire. We covered each other's lackings and because of that I wanted none other for a partner in greatness.
The Superior Duo, as Supes coined it, was here. The member Insanity whipped up some new sigs and Avvies for us, one of which you can see in my current sig. I changed Avatars all the time back then, it was so fun. We crafted this stone into a diamond, and the golden age of MFG was ushered in. My opinions on this time cannot do justice to how things really were. We established a great staff, great rules, great order of...everything. Some one else do this part.

For me, I would have to divide it into 3 personal time lines - "Dragonball Z Forums" "Being a Staffer" and "The Social side of MFG". I can't get my thoughts straight when I meld them all together. It was seriously like 3 different lives within this message board.

I still have the 'era' names that Duo and I came up with back during our Golden Days as Administrator's on my home computer. So whenever I'm on that again, I could post it up, and we could go from there.?

As far as Duo's history goes, that is some mighty fine stuff. I still remember the days we used to hate each other with a passion. Yet, being under constant pressure/fire/whatever together helped us grow into friends. The biggest shocker of my time on MFG was hearing of the person who requested me as a Super Moderator/Administrator... Duo.

Damn straight we were. GT-Goku POWA!! Though as chronicled, I later changed to Engel during the xmas name change, and have been ever since. Was good times for fan-fics back then. Oh yeah! The Xmas present to MFG was a week of unlimited name changes since we didn't want to have to do it year round.
And supes, think you're going overboard with "Hated each other with a passion"? I just didn't like you much. See Balmung if you want to know what I hate. He was kept on staff for so long but he was just a walking pot of liquid douche. Still don't think he ever learned to type.

EG GFX yeah I remember that GT Goku...it was good times I remember working on like 5 sigs a day at the peak. Really hard work though.
Duo you time line is pretty sweet. Its interesting to compare yours and Superiors.
Engel I think we should write up our own version of events that went on. Everyone has their own version of their life on MFG and they usually are quite different except for the major events that affected everyone. Yeah Gokou used to be my name but It was changed by Ace as a gift to me for donating to the site. I was super stoked when that happened for obvious reasons.
