Wow, somebody actually remembered that. Yeah, I went by the monkier of Namekian Dragon for like two weeks, then had either Ace or Sharky change it to Superior for me because I wasn't aware we could change them ourselves. Eventually, that feature got turned off, and I was stuck with the name. Which doesn't really bother me for reasons I won't mention. I eventually joined Daizex as Namek'jin Ryu, which basically means Namekian God of Dragons or something. You'd have to ask Duo about the meaning of the name to get a good, right description of it.

Isn't Namek'jin...just the Namek equivolent of Saiya-jin..??? Ryu means dragon. It sounds like just your other name in Japanese...

I remember back in October of 04, back when the best member on the forums joined. (*coughmecough*) I joined the RPG like a week later, and remembered getting really pissed when Notorious (At the time Ssj3_Pan, which lead to many gay and woman jokes) But then I got modded, so I was suddenly appeased even though I was still everyone's bitch. Good times back then, I remember pwning all the noobs with Engel and company. Then in late March into April we busted #17 for cheating and I blew Superior's joke regarding deleting my clan in the clans section or something. Then in July all the RPG mods abandoned me after the admins disappeared, even though I was planning on resigning anyway. I stayed, and ran the RPG for a few months until finally I got some help in November. Things were good until July, when I left to concentrate on summer school. I came back, again, became a mod, again, and then left again because the CORE was retarded. I came back in November, my computer went Terry Schiavo, and I was out until January. But now I'm back and everyone's happy. Woo!

Wow this does bring back some memories of the past good times even thought it was only 3 years ago. I particularly remember "Goku's the man" and he had an avatar of Goku turning into shenron. At the time this was the very beginning and he had at the time which seemed an unatainable post count of 1500...Then he just up and left.
At the time I was I think a gold member which was a rank you were given if you donated money to the site and it also gave you special powers.
At the time I was hanging out with Engel and Rose in the Cafe and text games. Its was some funny stuff and had me laughing all the time. It was a good way to pass the time at work.

Those were the names he went by as far as I'm aware. I know he had other one's that lasted a week or shorter like 'Baby Killer', 'The 1337 Game', ect. Though, for the most part, those were his names.

Man I feel like a Grandpa sitting around here explaining all this stuff. =P

I also remember profile comments and how much of a pain it was removing spam and flame comments from there. Considering you had to remove them one at a time and some of them were just long ass spaces. This may sound odd but I used to like looking at the deleted posts when I was a mod. I am glad that habit to transfer into real life because then I could have end up dumpster diving.

Does anybody else remember back during the phpBB days when we had like 50+ forums with no sub-forums? I remember we had sections for Pokemon, Lupin the Third, Case Closed, ect. Eventually the Board Founders realized that wasn't a good idea and Open Anime Discussion was created. I also remember when all we had was DragonBall related forums, a Help Desk forum, and an Introduction forum. So I've been around for the biggest and smallest era's of the forum.

1. The amount of nonsense are that used to go on within people profiles.
2. The time I used to be really into my graphics stuff and was an gfx mod.

Anybody remember how Encore would like, always over-exaggerate about how awesome Hal and Manic were, because those 2 guys were like, they would be badasses, and yet they were like the most loved on this forum. I always found it amusing though, how Encore would ass kiss like crazy, and Hal would still treat him like shit or ignore his posts. I loved it everytime...

That eventually led me to have Ladykiller1 make some insane, Nazi-based Profile sig. >_>
