In case some people don't know, i didn't anyway, these are the official voices who will do the new Final Fantasy film, based 2 years after the events of Final Fantasy VII.

Cloud Strife: Steve Burton. (Also did Cloud Strife in Kingdom Hearts.)

Tifa Lockhart: Rachael Leigh Cook

Kadaj: Steve Staley

Rufus Shinra: Wally Wingert

Reno: Quinton Flynn

Rude: Crispin Freeman

Yazoo: Dave Wittenberg

Loz: Fred Tatasciore

Vincent Valentine: Steve Blum (HELL YEAH!! Has done loads of characters, including Zabuza in Naruto, Spike in Cowboy Bebop, Ken in Street Fighter, Mugen in Samurai Champloo, and a bunch of games too.)

Barett Wallace: Beau Billingslea

Cid Highwind: Chris Edgerly

Yuffie Kisaragi: Christy Romano

Cait Sith: Gregg Ellis

Red XIII: Liam O'Brien

Reeve: Jamieson Price

Tseng: Ryun Yu

Elena: Bettina Bush

OK, the voice actors don't sound that bad, they couldn't find anything for James Arnold taylor or Tara Strong. Tara would've been good.

I think James Taylor was the first vote to be Cloud but then Steve came along and got chosen over him.

Tara Strong would've owned as Yuffie. But meh, let's see what this over VA can do, infact I'm a IMDB her now.

EDIT: Ah, so she was Yuffie in KH and she is also Kim Possible.

Well, thank god that Sephiroth is not voiced by that guy from N'sync.

And that Spehiroth comment, are you reffering to the guy who did Kingdom Hearts Sephiroth? If so, i thought his was really good.

Most of the actors are indeed great but the problem is, some sould be switched around. For instance, Sephiroth should be Steven Blum.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR FFVII. It looks awesome. The graphics look AMAZING!!!!! Can anyone tell me if "Mother" Is actually a woman?

"Mother" is Jenova, and if you have played FF7 you know who jenova is.

The only gripes i have with the film was a lack in plot.

Steve Blum wouldn't make a good a Sephiroth. Steve Blum has this kind of gurgle in his voice acting, kind of hard to explain. It's a kind of rough voice. Not all his voices are like this mind you, take Jamie from Mega's XLR for example, that's a punkish high kind of voice which i assume is his normal voice, but still wouldn't match Sephirtoh IMO.
Sephiroth strikes me as a someone with a clean, posh kind of accent but deep. Steve Blum suits more of the dark mysterious character which is Vincent.

Also, I do not believe Steven Jay could play Sephiroth, I just couldn't see him as it, really.
