I'm interested in seeing how many people here drink coffee because my mom's boyfriend told me that coffee would keep me up.
So I drink it before I go to school and it is mucho effective.
Now I'm addicted, lol.
Can you also say what kind you drink and how much sugar you put in it?
I drink Maxwell House, I plan on getting some vanilla flavored coffee soon.

Coffee sucks big time. No good, really. It's not really good for you at any rate and it's con's far outweigh it's pro's. And since you already said it's addictive then that's one more thing you can chalk up on the 'I shouldn't be doing this' column. I dunno, it doesn't even taste good, you lead me to believe that mucho sugar must be added to make it even acceptable for you to drink.

I dunno, drink tea. That's what I do. Although that's only at night and never as a means to wake up (don't take it from me as the earliest I now have to wake up is 1pm, but my sched is fucked, trust me) I say you shouldn't get into the habit of making coffee your morning wake up but that's me. You'll become stupid dependant on it and eventually you may regret it.

My dad for example has now sworn off coffee because of what it's doing to his health. If you want I guess I can ask him about more details but I say get high on life not caffein...

Yeah so my vote is no... like you didn't already gather that if you've read my whole post.

I do ever now and again actually. It's good for a boost. The coffee sucks when my family makes it, they make it either too strong or far too weak.

Let me tell you though, Coffee grounds don't have a pleasant taste.

I'm a green tea person. Tastes great, even cold.

Hmm, do I drink coffee?

The simple answer is no. Despite the fact that I'm in college (a sophomore), I have never taken a single drop of coffee in my lifetime. I mean, I never really sleep in class or anything, and I can get through the day just fine without coffee. Although, I'm not denying the fact that drinking coffee would most certainly keep me on my toes as I walk through campus, but I just don't think I need it. Who knows, maybe as I get older, I might change my mind.

Anyway, as it is now, I'm doing just fine without coffee.

Yeah, I drink it, but not often. Maybe once a week or every other week, only at a store or something. I wake up at least six hours after my Dad makes his coffee and goes to work.

I take regular, French Vanilla cream with three sugars. I like it lukewarm, not scalding like it comes at first.

It is bad for you, but in moderation there isn't really a problem (which can be said about almost anything in general.) Coffee isn't addictive in itself, it's the caffine. Drinking anything with caffine, like soda for example, is addictive, so don't just blame it on coffee.

I don't drink it to stay awake, so I don't know its effectiveness there. It sure is good in the cold though.

I just drink juice, water, or smoothies (or milkshakes)

Coffee, nah...can't stand the taste of the stuff...I prefer either tea or hot chocolate.

I tried it one time...and that was basically the time I decided I didn't like it. It just tastes too bitter for me. I mean, sure I eat Dark Chocolate, but coffee is just another matter for me.

I do not drink Coffee for the sheer fact I hate its taste. Tried it once, let the rest go to waste.

I'm with Apostle Vick on this one, Hot Chocolate is the only way to go for me.
