Indigo Prophecy- How cool is it?

I've played an Indigo Prophecy demo and it's a cool game. It has a very deep plot and has exactly the kind of game drama and suspense. It is the closest thing to an interactive movie I have ever seen. However, how cool is it? I'm getting it for Christmas. I know its graphics are dated, but it is cooler than an accepted genre of gaming. This game deserves a movie. It would be a mystery that would turn into a full-fledged action movie. From what I researched, it has something to do with a prophecy about a kid called the Indigo Child.

She, in this game, is supposed to bring peace to the world. Meanwhile, Lucas Kane, a bank agent, is put under a trance and murders someone in a restroom. He has to find out the truth, while running from two detectives. Also, your actions determine the story of the game.

This game is a nice change from all the fast paced action. It's fun seeing how you can change the story. And it's not that the graphics are dated it's the polygonal count aren't as high as other games.

I know that, but what about the story? That's what I'm asking. I'm not as compelled by the new gameplay engine(Not that I don't like it. I like it alot) as I am compelled about the story. The whole concept of the Indigo Child story compells me. I mean, what's the story? I know the Indigo Child takes into account as an important figure, as she shall bring peace to the world(This is not a magical girl anime. In fact, it is not anime-influenced at all), however, how does this tie into Lucas' strange situation?

Also, I heard Lucas gets the power to see other murders being comitted and in a trailer, I saw him fighting a guy with a hood in mid-air! What's that all about, dude?
