Connecting is simple all you have to do is connect to a wireless router then you can either use a code to find a specific person or you can just start a regional or worldwide race with anyone they find. Then the race starts.

There is unfortunately there is no voice chat.

There really aren't servers you can either find friends, rivals or like in the first paragraph it'll just find up to 4 people to race.

Well if you've just come off from playing a Mario Kart you should be fine. I haven't played one in a while so drifting properly took a couple of races but then I was fine.

It definately feels like Mario Kart that's all I can really say.

There are 2. One is a squid which just makes it hard to see by putting ink on the top screen but I usually just look at the bottom screen until it goes. Then theres forgot the name but it's the bullet that you transform in for 7 seconds.

No, there are some new ones as well one of my favourites is Waluigi Pinball, it's really what you expect it to be.

No voice chat though is a slight dissapointment.

Squid ink aye? Sounds good, but yeah you would just look at the bottom screen.
Is the other Bullet Bill, i think that's the name your looking for.

Sounds good so far. I'll be picking up my copy when it comes out hopefully.
When i get it, i'll share my code with you, so we can race! Mario Kart style!

Sorry for the double post but I was just in the most hilarious online race so far. It was starting with 3 people in a race and I won the first two races so one guy quit on the third race I won. Then on the last race this guy was beating me on the last lap of the last race, so when he was at the finish line he stopped I could see him from a distance and I thought why the hell is he doing that?! And so I started power sliding with whatever chance I needed and surprisingly beat him. Funny..

Oh and I don't know how much morons I've faced online, it's unbelieveable. But thankfully some people are good sports and aren't ashamed to lose in a game.

Also something that you can't do online is say hold 'L' to have a red shell behind you, well you can't do that online. Just something I thought I add.

So you can't actually hold things behind you to block the attacks with like Banana peels. Dang...oh well no big loss.

This guy/girl could of just been playing cocky but you came in to fast and took past him/her whilst they were probably kissing their own ass.

At least there are nice players out there, hopefully i'll be one of them. Soon my pet, soon...

Their are some times I have quit because the players I was facing were lagging to the point it was not possible to win. They fall off, they come back on straight away. One time I came first with the other 3 people lagging and when I won I went from 1st, then 2nd, then 3rd and then I was in last place.

Well well well. Time has come.
I have Mario Kart DS now safely in my lap.
Pretty damn good.

I would play against you but i'm having problems connecting to Mario Kart WIFI at the moment. Once i can figure it out, i'll give you the heads up.

Not connecting >.<

Keeps saying that a Router is not in area, move closer when i'm sitting next to it.
I have manually entered some settings aswell but still can't connect.

Last resort. I'm going to turn off outside waves (LAN and etc) in the house. And turn on some things like the book says. After that, and if no go. I'll have to fork out more money for the damn USB Connector.

By the by, are you a snaker? Hope not.
When i say Snaker i mean, you ruin the fun in the game and just power slide, power slide, power slide over and over gaining infinite boost.

New items:
Bullet Bill - Your turn into a giant bullet and get a speed increase. Anyone you hit get's knocked for 6 sideways. It's basically the same as a Star.
Squid Ink - A squid appears above you and squirts ink on you making you not able to see the road perfectly.

The new tracks are great additions. Best being a new track called Waluigi Pinball. You start off and get shot up this pipe to the track above and start racing down this swirvy road with giant pinballs rolling down too. Then at the bottom you enter the pinball table where all the bouncers and flickers are. The giant pinballs starts bouncing around like crazy and it's quite hard getting around not getting hit.

It's worth getting. It's a great portable game.

I also love that track with it's own custom sounds in that track it's cool. Yesterday I just finished unlocking every character and kart. Which was just getting R.O.B. and finishing 150cc mirror in the retro cups.

But a track I just really suck at is GCN Luigi Circuit.

Luigi circuit? lol why?

Its a simple track, plus being on the GC already.
Thing is though, why are the character unbelieveably small!? If you race on the GC tracks, the racers are like smurfs.
