Are games getting easyer? or have i got better?

i compelted dbz bud ten in two days or 3, maybe 4, not sure but it was over quickly! dynasty warriors 5, was long but then i wizzed though it. Devilmaycry 3! kept me hook then i found it easyer, i tryed hard mode and everything but still, no chanallege. wind waker, played it recenlty and got 3 quaters the wway though in only 6 hours i think! Are games getting easyer on am i just getting too goood?

Games that were made after the N64 was released are far easier than ones made before

Games are easier now because you don't have to fire a whole round of bullets to kill one guy (Half-Life..) and head shots and stuff allow faster killing. In Devil May Cry 3 it's supposed to be easier as you go on.

I can beat most games within 12 hours, but there are games out there that offer harder difficulties. Hence why there's very hard modes!

Heaven and Hell mode!

Extreme!

Just use those.Really, though. Games like Metal Gear Solid, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Devil May Cry, and Prince of Persia can be pretty hard, anyway. Bulking up on the difficulties makes certain things extremely difficult (especially if you're trying to do things without continuation, or doing speed runs).

Yeah, i tryed 3 level 9's on smash bros ages ago and they were hard, but i allmost one, all VS me, i was the chapion in my old skool at smash bros, but havent played it for a while

I used to think Super Smash was hard(on highest level) but man I played the hell out of it with my bro and eventuely 3 on 1 wasnt to hard anymore so I just play with my bro but Tekken 5 on the hardest mode try beating Jinpaichi with a perfect it really is not possible let alone even beating him under those conditions.

Playing in multiplayer melee mode isn't as hard as it is playing Very Hard on Classic, Adventure, or All-Star.

In my opinion games are getting harder. The old games all had a trick to them, and once you found that 'trick' out, whether it involved timing or strategy, the part became very, very, VERY easy. (Think Mario 64 or something)

Honestly, I think games are getting harder. Just look at Ghost Recon, or any other popular, realistic game out there. If you screw up you're pretty much fucked in such games.

I don't think I can truly believe what you're saying about DMC3. There is like...literally no way someone can conquer hard mode and call it 'simple and easy.' The game was DESIGNED to be difficult...so either that was just stretching the limits or just bluffing. I suppose it's possible if you know how enemies work and know every damned moved there is...but I still call it crazy that'd you'd consider it so simple. Me, a hardcore gamer that plays FO'EVAH, saying this is pretty strange, cause I beat a lot of games in one day, maybe even two. And I'm not talking about Sagas.

Just find the right games. A lot of the cartoon/TPS/fighting games out at the moment are pretty damn simple, give or take a few.

I used to fucking axe through all games back in the day, I actually take longer to finish them now then I used to. However that may be linked to the fact that I used to play every minute of the day, now I am lucky if I play for an hour or more a day.

Wind Waker was easier then OoT IMO.
