What are your thoughts on animals testing? In my opinion, it's pretty useless. Here's why...
If we want to know how medicine or makeup is to work on a human body, why don't we test it on a human body? Take murderers, rapists, and child molesters on death row and test them on it. They deserve it, and it's "for science." The only animal with the somewhat same body type as a human is an orangotang. We don't test on those anyways, so what is the point? Inject the arms of criminals and rub makeup in the eyes of rapists for all I care. Better idea. And don't bring up "the cure for cancer," no matter how many animals they test on, it won't be found.

There is a huge ethical problem with testing on human beings. There is not on animals ...Animals are God's creations too. There's just as much an ethical problem with testing on animals as there is a human. It's retarded, actually. Death row patients wouldn't be a bad idea, since they'd be going to die anyway, but having a 'voluntary' option would help, rather then simply stealing an animal from its habitat to test it with something that could be deadly. There are 6 billion people on this world. A few dying because some fuck-faced scientists screwed up isn't too much to ask. I'd rather have a serial killer die because of that than an ape.

True that. Prisons are getting overcrowded too, so if It became popular enough you might just kill two birds with one stone. (No pun intended)
P.S- They've had the cure for cancer for years man, but do you really think they'd release it and lose all those 100's of billions of dollars they make of the suffering of people who have cancer? Remember polio? They cured it and overnight the drug companies lost all their market for treatments- they ain't lettin' that happen again. |

You could just test on cells, it won't give just as much good results as in real testing, but it works. Then I think one should use criminals (such as those you listed) to test on. I mean, people will get scared of comitting crimes if they know that they'll probably have to go through indirect torture. Two things obtained in a row, I'll say. They'll make up their duties to the society by helping it.

Yeah, like for an example, rapists have to take medicine that makes them impotent. If it works, they're out. Or something.
But I would rather have testing made on criminals than animals. We were on a trip to a medical factory and they showed a movie that should show us how great their work were. I found it the opposite. They had two dogs with tubes sticking out of their stomaches in which they inserted the medication. I was like "WTF?!" Why do you try to cure a healthy being, try a sick one instead! And then they showed this little girl with asthma, that were cured with medicine...aww...hell no. The reason that she had asthma could most likely be because of too much dust and mould in her house causing irritation and asthma. But still, why should they try it on healthy animals? It's sick. Use them criminals instead. They can even make money on the concept, to be able to have enough money for the researches, by showing the tests on the TV. Many people would like to watch criminals pay for their crimes in this way. |

Testing on animals is only done on those specifically bred for testing. It's not like they can just go grab the first stray animal they find off of the street and test on it, as that is illegal. I don't nessisarly agree thats it right to test onthem, but people seem to think that scientists can just grab the first animal they see and start testing on it, when it's illegal to test things on certain animals and it's illegal to use certainanimls for testing. And people who say that animls who are used for testing are treated badly, tell me why would a scientist who needs to work with a healthy animal treat them badly? they wouldn't be able to do their research properly if the animall wasn't healthy, so it's in their best interests to treat them good.
