Games for Upcoming B-Day

Well, i'm considering asking for the following games:

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat, Sims 2, The World of Warcraft, GTA: Vice City (Cause there is certain mods now that add 40 extra cards and motorcycles, also get to play Liberty City the full version for free), F.E.A.R, and Pokemon FireRed.

Everything for PC except Pokemon FireRed.

Anyone have any opinions or advice for me? Maybe fill me in on these games?

I'm gonna advise against GTA Vice City. It's no better than 3 because you'll just wind up doing the same things, only you won't be able to see over the lense flare. If you've played 1 GTA game you've played 'em all.

I'm gonna suggest Devil may Cry 3. It's cool and fun. If you have an NES than I suggest Crystalis. If you have an SNES than I suggest Lagoon and Leged of Zelda A Link to the past.

Mario Kart Double Dash is good. Otagi 2 is also fun.

If you don't have a Soul Calibur game than I suggest you keep it that way until you rent it.

It really depends on what kind of game you want, but if your a rpg-er, than WoW... definitly.

Hmmm...

Well, i'm definately going to go with F.E.A.R and Battlefield 2 because they look great. Most likely the Sims 2 as well as Pokemon FireRed, not too sure about WWC anymore, seeing as how supposedly you have to pay $20.00 a month to use the online feature. Not sure about Vice City now, I owned all the GTA gamed starting from Liberty City, but I heard the mods were worth the $10.00 - $19.00 you would spend on Vice City.

Well, it's only 15 dollars, and it lasts you an entire month. It's definitely worth the money, but if you don't feel like paying over and over again you could get Guild Wars. I believe that's the only online game where you don't need to pay every month.

Sims 2...Er...Well, I hate Sims games.

All the others are great choices, though.

Get F.E.A.R., WoW (If you're able to pay the monthly fee), and Battlefield 2 (If your PC can handle it). Those should keep you busy for a while. And Guild Wars doesn't have a monthly fee but the gameplay isn't as good as WoW.

G4 gave it a better rating than WoW, but that's all in simple opinion. Any of today's online games are pretty stylish and entertaining.

F.E.A.R. I've heard is an excellent game. I plan on getting it myself.

I wouldn't rule out WoW just yet, though. You should find someone who has it and test it out a bit. It really is worth that measely amount of cash.

Which is true.

I personally wouldn't want to spend $15 a month though.

How much time would you have to play WoW? Because if you have alot and have the cash go get it! If you're going to play it a little it's not going to be worth the monthly fee.
