Hip Hop is people talking about real issues in life, and their lyricks are thoughtful.Rap is about anything that will make people buy their albums.

In hip hop people concentrate on the lyricks.
In rap they concentrate on the beats.

It's hardly some ancient religion that only a select few know about&I still stick by ,that rap is mainly talking where as hip hop isn't.
