DOA4 Mystery Character...

Alright so there have been rumors of what the mystery new character will be in DOA4.. some said it would be Cortana from Halo. But Tecmo has done something else..

OMG that kicks ass. Not only is it our first glimpse at what Master Cheif (Or should i say Spartan -458) looks like on a new more powerful hardware, but we also see him in a beat em-up. I think that's a really nifty idea.

It seems this idea of including bonus unique characters is becoming a evermore repeating theme now with beat-a-ups. This notion of including console big stars I believe mostly started with soul calibre( for example "link") and the idea I reckon will gathering speed with other companies. while is good to see companies interact with each other and letting each other use character resources is still seems to be a unusual move. But in any case it might be fun to use dual-welded guns on dead or alive characters lol.

Ehh...dont like Halo too much.And it sounds like there trying to copy off of Samus Aran by making the master cheif or w/e its called a girl and making it have a suite have some simmilartys to Samus's and throwing it into a fighting game(samus in super smash bros.)Just think about it and it makes sense they could have put a much better character in this game like someone Tecmo has made or somthing...

Dude, just because you dislike Halo doesn't make it that the Spartan put in the game is a rip off of Samus.

Spartan - Green.
Samus - Orange.
Spartan - Normal guns and fighting abilities.
Samus - Advanced hyper suit and gun arm.
Spartan - One of the many hundreds of girls who are spartans.
Samus - A 1 of a kind bounty hunter.

There's no similarities what so ever.

Even though they didn't rip-off Samus, who cares? It's still going to be kickass to fight hand to hand as a spartan! Or maybe you could use guns..

If you read the Halo book you would know Tecmo did not make up the female spartan.

It is a weird concept though, a fighting game full of Ninjaz then some dude in a battle suit fighting ninjaz. Weird.

Really though, in DOA there is only about 4 ninja's in the game.

Looks about the same to me. I've been loking at the360 pics for some time now and see very little difference in gfx. Halo 2's Master Chief looked just as good as this Spartan chick.

I may not get DoA4. They need MANY more nifty characters in the game to keep me interested.
