^ My advice is - Don't watch the others, and you'll retaine that (healthy) obsession over one of the best movies ever made. Which is the original Matrix. Seriously, the two sequels are possibly the worst sequels ever, compared to the original one. I'd almost recommend counting seconds over watching The Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions.

One of the most awesome films ever made definetly!!!
I actually didn't mind the second film, i loved the car stuff in that film and the agent fight, that was classic!! I found there was a lot more action in the second, which is usally why i watch that one more than the first. Only seen the last one once, never seen it again as it was soooo lame an ending!! Really annoyed me for days that did. |

^ The ending was the only good part in Revolutions.
Reloaded was completely lame, nothing good in that movie, in my opinion. Action is always boring in these types of films. Agent Smith copying himself was the stupidest idea I've ever seen, as if more of the same makes it better - What a bore. Also the pointless wannabe-philosophical babble of - The Creator - in the end was beyond incomprehensible. I doubt even the writers themselves knew what they were saying. All the action sequenses had no point or true intensity. Good action is very hard to do, and both Matrix sequels miserably fell on their faces. It was just pathetic play of CG effects and secondhand stunts. Good thing we'll always have the original. |
