I heard they were going to make a Devil May Cry 4. Is it true?

Yeah, 100% true actually. It's coming out for the PS3 I believe.

There's already a DMC4 topic. And DMC4 is in development for the PS3. A teaser was shown at E3 and at TGS a couple of weeks ago a cooler trailer was shown. But there are no details on how the gameplay will be nor have there been information on the story..

Man, they're coming out with a part 4 already? I haven't even won the first three yet. Which I only have Devil May Cry 1 & 2 at the moment. Guess I better start getting to work on some of those games. I recently just noticed I have about 7 games in my room that I haven't even opened to play yet.

Off topic: Does anyone know if the Playstation 3 will be able to play Playstation 2 games? Reason I ask is because if so I might want to sell my Playstation 2. Reason I say might is because it hasn't needed to be fixed or anything, which makes me think it is quite good since back a few months ago members were complaining of theirs breaking or not working after so long.

No. From what i've heard Playstation3 can't play Playstation2 games.

On Topic: The Devil May Cry series i didn't enjoy to much.. its just so hard.. lol

Sony confirmed at E3 that the Cell Processor will allow backwards combatability (sp?) with both PS and PS2. And that means every title, not the most "popular". So I guess you could sell your PS2. BUT remember what happened with the memory card stuff for the PS2? I don't know if the same thing is going to happen but I would keep the memory card.
