Rex VS Ray

I personally think that Rex was the superior 1. It was so much harder to fight 1 Rex than it was multiple Ray's. I also had to use Rations on ocasion with Rex. I had to use nothing but my Stinger's against Ray.

REX, RAY was amphibious and RAY were not that hard too defeat while REX was a killing machine i used everything i had before i took it out.
It was easy on MGS 2 you killed quite a few RAY's while there was only one REX so

REX easily. It had the look, the style, the mass craziness, the weapons, a cup holder, everything!

But really, in MGS 2 you could beat a hord of Metal Gear Rays taking out each one with 2 missiles. REX was all over you, with piercing weapons and a mad pilot to boot aswell. The battle with REX felt more like a fight, as you duck and dive everywhere taking a pot shot when you can. RAY however just jumped in, did a squeal at you, fired a machine gun which you easily cartwheel over and easily dodge the slow missiles which come in. Then RAY sits there awaiting destruction. It felt more like a chore than kicking a Metal Gear square in the nuts!

Hands down REX for the above reasons stated. REX was just an enjoyable boss fight IMO.

Rex was the true mech.

but one thing always puzzled me with such are advanced piece of technology that was able to find nuclear weapons and made dinosaur sounds, outcomes stinging missiles worked on it. What would happen if you have the Harrier jet fighter?

And how come they didn't just stand on snake or Raiden to save all the ammo.....rex squashed the ninja fairly easy and he could bloody warp from place to place, and what unique move could snake do........roll....need I say more!.

Well, stinger missiles didn't out and out work on Rex. Remeber that first you had to attack the Radar! Or the "eyes". That still didn't work. Ninja disabled the radar which forced Liquid to open the head. Snake damaged the controls, not the mech itself. Plus, Ninja was outright assaulting the mech. Snake was being defensive.
