San Andreas has been banned from store shelves untill it is recrassified as a Adults Only game by Rockstar. A mod code has been discovered in the PC version which allows you to make a porno movie in the game, which is not allowed by the common Mature rating. Ill post a link later on, I just dont have the time at the moment.

BTW a guy in Gamestop told me of this yesterday, and I heard about it today over the radio.

i think that it should have been banned from stores in the begining but hopefully this will teach the parents that bought this for their eight year old children to pay more attention to the games they buy

Oh yes the infamous "Hot coffee" modification, seen a story about this recently in the tabloids and as usual they never get their facts right. Hot coffee is a modification made by the GTA community for the PC version only and isn't just some code. So this hasn't nothing to do with rockstar but sadly in the papers they make it sound like rockstar are the guilty ones. But sadly the whole situation has been blown out of hand and is another way the tabloids to condemn video games.

As always it is a parent's responsibility to maintain visual over their child's entertainment and buying a GTA game for say a 12 year-old is like buying them a porno video.

OMG, i got to check this game out a pornographic movie, also its not our fault people buy games not knowing what it can and will do too children. Jammy-kun i bought the game when it came out dead on midnight on the 29th of October and im only 14!

Not only this modification is on the PC version, if you input a certain action replay code, you can do it in the PS2 version of San Andreas. Now most stores don't sell AO games so Rockstar really asked for it, because eventually someone was going to get the hidden files of the game.

Well after reading some further information it seems I read the whole situation incorrect. I presumed at first this was just modification fans had made not realising it was an actual mini game that is hidden inside the game. So in my previous post I take some of mine words back.

Heh, well that kind of stupid...The people that I bought the uncensored version of Liesure Suit Larry from didn't say s**t. And that's worse than some cheat on GTA.

Yet the same people wouldn't let me buy GTA 2 without a parent.

This game isn't really worth banning. It does sound weird when you hear of a cheat that allows you to make porn movies but 90% won't even care about that!

The parents just don't let their kids get the game. If they say, "I DIDN'T KNOW GRAND THEFT AUTO WAS SO VIOLENT" then they're fucking stupid.

I think that the title itself is obvious for parents but because their child wants good entertainment they would still buy it for them even if he/she is underage.
