Last night at supper I brought up to my parents who they think will run for President in 2008 now that Bush can't. My Mom said Hilary (Clinton's Wife) most likely will. So, what do you guys think of a Female running for President? And do you think the world (or USA) would be a better place with one?

If you meant that comparing the men to the women to see who is a better president and taking an educated guess, then .. no, you're not right.

Personally, I don't want Hilary as a president, let alone most other people. I just don't like Hilary much, and she seems like she's hiding some inner evil.

I don't think it's a bad idea. US is already ruled in part by a woman (Condie) and woman president is not such a bad thing. Here, Latvia's president is woman, and Finland's was some time ago... And it all went just fine

I wouldnt mind having a woman president. I dont seeany difference between a man and a woman being president. Its the person, not they're gender, that matters. I honestly think its about time we had a change for the better, and who knows, maybe the woman president will be of a different race. I mean, why not? I think it would be awesome of it was an African-American woman as president in 2008.

I wouldn't mind having a female president as long as it's not Hilary. I wouldn't mind if Condolezza Rice were to run.

I think it's about time we had a female president. We've had a few run but they've not really gotten the momentum going to make it. I think Hilary would make a pretty good Pres, and I'm almost positive that if she runs she'll win. She's got the backing, certainly. I'm rather suprised she didn't make a move last year.

It's wierd that America's as old as it is and we've still yet to have a female president or a black president...

Well i cant really comment on U.S.A homeland affairs at the time of the clinton administration, but from another world view he seemed to do pretty well, and they say if you elect Hilary its like getting 2 for 1

Personally the person who impressed my in the preliminaries the most was a guy called Barak Obama he seemed like a good choice for the prez.

We still have a female president, Tarja Halonen. I really like her and she has done her job very well. Next year there will be an election and I REALLY hope that Halonen will be chosen again.

I think there are no (big) differences between a female president and a male president.

pros: there probably would be less world wars

cons: a women can't help but follow her heart..in other words she might bring the country down with her emotional Decisions..

yeah im all for giving her a chance, its just whether or not she has enough power to sway hundreds of years of male oppression lol. Many will chose to vote against simply because she is a she... its sad but most likely true lol.

Oh well... would be interesting to see what would happen.

Yeah we can kid ourselve Electing the president affects the whole world, and if i was a U.S citizen and HC had a good enough campaign and good ideas i would give her a vote, it maters not to me age/sex/race/creed
