Anyway to answer your question I suggest you buy the Final fantasy games, Metroid Prime series, Legend of Zelda Series, and the street fighter series.

ahh there classic games you may think they suck kbut these are supposed to be some of the best games out there and it just goes to sho grapics arn't everything

Chrono Tigger
Legend of Zelda: A link to the past
Super Metroid
FF II and III
Samurai and Street fighter games were kind of entertaining

If you want more names ask, I can look for some good ones. I think I still have about 80 down in my basement. It's like aprt of my childhood, I got it when I was 2 or 3.

Zelda Link to the past, Super Mario all-stars, super mario world, super mario rpg, donkey kong country 1 & 2, super street fighter II, Mario Kart, Turltes in time, and Final Fantasy III.

Yep, I don't know what people have against old school console. I mean ok so the graphics are slightly better in say 64 but the gameplay and storylines suck. They're based on the older games and almost the same thing at times except Nintendo has less ideas to put forth. SNES is a great console.

I don't reallyl ike playing with the NES though, monochrome gets boring at times.

that and 1 i hate downloading things and 2 i dont like the setups that usually go with them there so messed up

but what shocks me is how shallow nowday gamers are how obsessed with graphics they are. grapics arn't every thing in fact i feel they are one of the lesser factors of a game the main factor are story and control and difficulty like what would halo be if you could beat it blindfolded pretty pathetic id say. would metroid prime have a good story if it was came, shot thing, blew uo anceint ruins and left?
and would gran thef auto be a good game if you hit left on the controler and it took 5 minutes for your person to turn now look most of these game have predecessors that rocked and are still considerd the best games ever not because of graphics but because of story difficulty and controls all merged to become something greater a good game

Hunter you're quite right about that. Keyboard controls at times are just not the same as that of a joypads or console controllers. You're also right about the impact GFX has on a game. Take StarCraft (Original) and then take the LOTR based game made using the same strategic gameplay method as Starcraft and Warcraft. Starcraft is much older, graphics are not as great however it was and is more popular than the LOTR game will ever be even though it has better graphics simply because the ideas were more original and because they were better.
