Namek'jin Ryu - Legendary Staffer

I don't know how many of you people know him but he grew up in my city and has donated a lot of money in his life time to my school which has a Auditorium named after him at our High School. I am sad to announce that today he died at age 79. It is sad to see an old Legend go. He was even planning to donate like close to 10 million dollars to my city sometime in the near future. He is/was/and will always be a Legend to me. Johnny Rest In Peace our town will miss you.

I hear you have heard of him too. He is all over the news tonight here in Nebraska. I live in the city he did when he grew up. This is his home town as well as mine and I'd like to quote Babe Ruth from The Sandlot:
"Hero's get remember, but Legends never die! Only their heart can and nothing can ever go wrong."

Johnny Carson will truly be missed and tomorow (Monday) look for Jay Leno and Dave Letterman to pay tribute to the Godfather of talk TV...
Superior, I hope Johnny Carson's wishes to grant your town funds is carried out in the near future. |

I just can't believe he is gone. If you guys go look up on Google what town Johnny Carson grew up in you'll probably find out what town in Nebraska I live. Probably won't be able to find me though if you come looking for me seeing how I'm unlisted in the Phone Book. Anyway over the summer in summer school I had this awesom teacher who took us on a field trip to the Johnny Carson Muesum where we spent 2 hours there. We watched some of his Late Night TV Shows on a television which were classic. Our teacher Mr. Brown was the best I'll ever have.

I agree. I just keep thinking about Johnny because even though I never saw his Late Night Show I felt close to him since he was from my town. My parents have some Video tapes of his best shows. Guess we'll have to get those out.

He died today the 23rd of Janurary. He lived a good life of 79 years. Johnny Carson lived from 1925 - 2005. I wonder what it's like to live to another century? I mean he was born in 1925 and lived all the way to 2005.
