QUOTE(ssj4_gotenks @ Jan 22 2005, 03:01 AM)
tuesdays gone Tuesday's Gone is a Lynyrd Skynyrd song. Metallica just covered it. QUOTE(ssj4_gotenks @ Jan 22 2005, 05:12 PM) i love metallica bt i hated st.anger...i like their older music more...enter sandman is a classic..the guitar solo is amazing.. Enter Sandman isn't old, it was on their 5th album. And IMO Metallica's most boring song. QUOTE(Engel @ Jan 23 2005, 08:36 AM) The whole St Anger album was dealing with what they did on their time apart. For instance the lead singer (James i believe) did a lot of thinking and dealing with his problems n such... went through a lot. I would not classify St Anger as their best album (probably their worst) but their old stuff ranks them above Sabbath in my preference. Yeah, St. Anger wasn't that much about the music. It was about their whole new attitude on making and playing music. Kind of a therapy album for the band. QUOTE(inuyasha16 @ Jan 23 2005, 07:11 PM) No they did an entire album with an orchestra, it was called S&M I think. That might be the wrong title though. Edit - Yeah No Leaf Clover is on the album. Yeah, the orchestral album is called S&M (Symphony&Metallica). No Leaf Clover is a previously unreleased track on it, great song. The other unreleased one, -Human, sucks in my opinion. |
