For those of you who dont know who they are, Jimmy Page was the guitarest in Led Zeppelin, and Jimi Hendrix... well if you havnt heard about him yet i cant really be bothered explaining lol.
Basically i think Page; sure Hendrix was awsome n such, i mean his solo's were fantastic... but sometimes his solo's would just get too long, and as he continued it sort of ruined the solo (just my opinion). But his music was fantastic and he will always be one of the greatest Guitarests... Page also did magnificent things, using the violin bow and his little magic box to create sounds never heard before... basically its a tough choice. I gave it to Page. |

Hendrix for me. He re-invented the guitar. Plus, he's the classic rock n' roll suicide story... Live fast and die young. Played with his thumb and the ideas just came from nowhere... And he has the romance of death on his side. He wins it for me...

Jimmy Page is excellent, he's had alot of great solo riffs, but he's not on the same level as Jimi. Jimi Hendrix was basically, a freak, a genius guitar master. He played it with his friggin teeth.
