Yeah Homer is the original dumbass. Peter is sort of a clone of Homer, but with a different sense of humor. Catman's a fat ass, smart ass, and a dumbass. But he's mostly a fat ass.

I'll say Peter is. Homer is quite stupid but there's more thought put into his lines (in my opinion) while Peter is your regular street idiot.

South Park is awesome, their shows are satire-based, so a lot of people don't get them. They're just trying to show people how stupid they can be sometimes. ex: the episode with the Mongols, they were trying to show people not to listen to everything they see on tv.
