Queen vs David Bowie

Alright this has been a debate between me and my friends for a while. I love both of these bands. Who do you think is better. I honestly cannot decde.

Both are great, but I gotta say Queen, I love We Will Rock You and Bohemian Rhapsody, both are great.

For me, Bowie is a longer lasting artist, who has changed his style far more. While Queen were indeed amazing, David Bowie not only became the epitome of a rock star, he became a mainstream icon.

For me, he is sex, drugs, rock n' roll all rolled into one - but with added intelligence and definition. He understood his genre and music far better than I think Queen ever could. + He is just one man, and they're a whole band... It was just him. They needed each other.

Also, as my tenses are all over the place, and I can't be bothered to fix them, Bowie is still here. It's easy for the romance of death to make an artist seem better.

Now that I think about it, I like Queen more. I haven't found a song they sing that I didn't like. It's just too bad Freddie passed away. I bought one of their live dvds, and it was fantastic. I would have loved to been able to see Queen in concert.

They're both good (funny thing i heard a song from David Bowie this morning) but overall i'd say Queen, but just by a little.

i prefer queen..but i think one of the coolest songs is under pressure with queen and bowie...

has anyone seen the music video of vegeta with the song princes of the universe by queen? it's awesome...

but i choose queen..they have made such great songs and i enjoy all of the..

anyways id say queen, they have some awesome songs although i dont like we are the champions anymore, it was originally a gay pride song but then those jocks misinterpreted the song and made into their little sports anthem
