Frodo - kid Gohan
Merry n Pippin - Goten n Trunks
Sam - Krillin
Gimli - Nappa
Aragorn - Goku
Gandalf - Piccolo
Legolas - Tien (because of his great eyesight)

Oh, man. First Disney and now this. Don't get mad or anything, but you guys are bastardizing a classic. The Lord of the Rings was popular even before we were born, guys. Granted, the cartoons were cheesy; the NES games sucked; but when you got into the books; it was great. I seen both LOTR movies and I wanted to see The Return of the King. I couldn't wait! I was dashing down to Blockbuster's but everybody else had snagged a copy. So you know, don't diss Frodo and Co. Don't even compare them to Dragonball/Z/GT. Let's face it, before long, we won't have GT. We'll get so sick of GT that we'll just complain to Cartoon Network and tell them to pull the plug because we're so sick of seeing 'reruns!'

And frankly, that's the stone cold truth.
