Hey, squallsoft, read this will ya?

Quote:
And think about, if you went to a store to buy an MP3 player, would you base your decision on which one is most durable? No, you wouldn't, you would buy the one with the most memory and features.
I would buy which ever 1 lasts longer! AKA most durable! Don't just assume that we're all about the features. The features are indeed a bonus but at the same time I don't want to have ti buy a new 1 in a few weeks especially at those prises.

Electronics of all types are not made with maximum durablity in mind because they are delicate pieces of equipment and are not meant to be dropped. It seems silly to make your decision based on the physical strength of the unit itself. That's like going to a hardware store and buying the hammer with the most hard drive memory, it just doesn't make sense or seem relevant.
Your right. They don't think about durability, that's why a PS2 controler can be droped from a 2 story house and survive and that must also be why the X-Box and X-Box controler have steel inside of it. They have also Put a PS2 memory Card in a toilet and it still had the data.
Moron!

As far as not ment to be droped goes. Not much in ment to be droped! Also noone's perfect, dumbass! We all drop things! It's only human! If you know someone perfect that has never droped a single thing in their whole life (that's still alive) than please introduce me! I have droped my GBC so many times I've lost count and it still plays! I also have an original GB that had been bleached and sat without use for 2 years. It still plays! Your so right. They really don't consentrate on durability!

I just don't understand where all this "breaks easily" stuff is coming from. Did you see an article on it or something? Seeing as how neither one of us has actually held a PSP or DS, who's to say which one is more breakable? You obviously must have seen or read something about it, right?
It is small and has a disk drive in it. It is quite feasable to break a disk drive by dropping it from about 5 feet up and the average person is taller than that.
Also as a matter of fact Gamespot said that it was easily broken and that the screen is very easily scratched.
We do know that it has only a little more than 2 hrs battery life and you buy the games seperatley, and at that price you may not be able to afford any games with it.

Quote:
I would also like to know where this $400 is coming from, I mean you must have heard it somewhere? I will try to have my friend scan the page of the PSM magazine that stated it would not be over $199, and have him send it to me so I can send it to you.
I wonder if you know that information changes through time. The information I got came from Gamespot! An official gaming website. Not some unnoficial game magazine!

Ya know what I don't understand? Why you bitch so much simply because the DS is better.

The breaks easily stuff is from an artical and it was talking about the PSP and all of the parts and how durable they are...and you mentioned memory in your post and the PSP doesnt exactly have alot of memory...well...it kinda does...you have to buy memorycards for it...so if you count memorycards then, yes the PSP does have more memory...and i got the $400.00 price from this site where it had the price the PSP was going to cost in Japan...and they converted it into USD and it came out $460.00 but i just round it down to $400...and the complaints you made about the DS were the looks and they havent even released the final Name or design...so there was no reason to complain...

Quote:
The features msotly and the price because PSP will be to much . Can you text message people with your ds?
Yes there is a text message feature on the DS...and there are rumors going around that you can download an IM service onto your DS...that would be really kool...

Whoa whoa whoa, let's not get insulting here, I hope your not taking it that seriously because I'm not. Just remember that you are the one who took the childish route and resulted to insults, ok. As for the two hour battery life, it was offically stated by Sony at E3 that with regular gaming use, the battery last for 5-7 hours, and the 2 1/2 hours only applies only to when you are watching movies on it.

Oh, and SuperBuuInGohanGi, if you read my post carefully, you'll see that I not once mentioned memory in regards to the PSP. Also, if you'll closely look at my other posts, you can see that the actuall appearance of the DS was probably the most minor of my many complaints, not the only one, so it's not fair to single that one out and say that there was no reason to compain. You guys have got to lighten up. I had no idea that the opinions in my post could evoke such ill feelings from you guys, as this was not my intent. I have no such feelings toward either of you, although I am obviously not happy about the unnecessary insults from Lord Sloth.

I'm not taking it seriously. I just like debates. Not many other's here seem to. When I see someone posting about things that they are wrong about I like to let them hear it.
And DON'T EVER call me a child or childish. I am 1 of the oldest ones here and I spat insults on occasion to try and start up a debate. People are much too peaceful on the net most of the time.

Well, calling me a moron and stating that he officially hates me all because of this, does not seem to be the most mature thing to do, especially for someone who is appearently one of the oldest people on these boards.

Uhhh...yeah, I suppose he could have, but I guess that's why you are here. Anyway, I would love to debate some more(not really), but I'm getting tired so I'm going to bed. I guess I'll talk to you guys tomorrow.

YOU ARE A MORON! IT WAS OFFICIALLY STATED THAT THE PSP WOULD HAVE 2-3 HOURS OF BATTERYLIFE WHILE PLAYING GAMES OR WATCHING MOVIES AND IT WOULD HAVE 5-7 HOURS OF BATTERYLIFE WHILE LISTENING TO MUSIC! AND ALSO I NEVER SAID YOU MENTIONED MEMORYCARDS! I SAID THAT IF YOU COUNTED MEMORYCARDS THEN THE PSP HAS MORE MEMORY THAN THE DS!!!!!!!
