This was pretty fun when 10-15 members got online. I'm just going to leave it running most of the time now. Try it out people, IRC isn't scary! However I do think a shoutbox may be more appropriate for the age group of the forums; but I think we had one before, and I guess there was problems.

Wow yeah I totally forgot kids aren't in school right now. I'm officially too stoned to post. But yeah, I still think most members don't know much about IRC, and it's not like there's any good tutorials on the web. I do remember Goku or Engel made one once on the old forums. Wonder if it's still around?

Inuyasha16, there used to be a tutorial on the front page of the forums when there were in the 4.0 stage, but it seems to have vanished. When I see Goku I'll ask him if he knows where it went, otherwise I will probably have to rewrite it since I've looked for 10 minutes with no luck.

For the people who are having trouble I can just lay down the basics here real quick.

Search for mIRC, download it.
Install it, go to the directory where you installed it, double click mIRC.exe
A little "About" window should pop-up. Click "Continue" in the bottom right corner.
Click on the blank white space once, a little | that blinks at the bottom shows that you can type there, so type /server irc.amcool.net
A bunch of text should soon appear, wait for it to stop, then type /join #MFG
A new window will popup, and a list of users in the chatroom should appear on the right.

This isn't the best tutorial, I know, but it'll do for now. Feel free to PM me, too. I don't mind answering questions.

Yup-Yup. IRC is where MFG throws it's trash (and sometimes Crayne too). Sort of like a pub, yah?
No ones there much anymore. Dino's not even there most of the time.
Maybe now you can have someone you can converse with.

No worries Superior, only me, sometimes dino, and sometimes Duo are there. But that isn't really worth saying if Sups considers me as a person he doesn't want to covnerse with. Oh well.
But not even Amero is there. NOT EVEN AMERO. Not at least when I am there.
